Shwayder Spring Volunteer Day
Join us for a fun and rewarding day as we get ready for summer 2025! We're looking for volunteers 10 years old and up to help with various tasks around camp. From setting up activity areas to cleaning cabins, your hard work will make a big difference in getting everything ready for an amazing summer. Please make sure to pack a lunch. Please note: there will not be access to flush toilets during this event.

Shwayder Fall Volunteer Day
Help us prepare for the off-season by joining us for a fun and meaningful day of service at camp! We’re looking for volunteers 10 years old and up to lend a hand with fall cleanup, organizing equipment, and getting camp ready for the winter months. Please make sure to pack a lunch.
Shwayder Camp Snowshoe Adventure!
Shwayder Camp isn’t just for summer fun! Join Shwayder Camp Director Rose Savage Levenson for a snowshoe (or hike) up to Shwayder Camp to enjoy the majesty of the mountains in winter. Participants will snowshoe roughly 3 miles roundtrip, with the first half being all uphill. Our adventure will take us from 9,000+ feet to 10,200 feet. Please make sure that you are in good physical condition to participate.

Shwayder Shabbat at Temple Emanuel
Join our Temple community to celebrate all things Shwayder Camp! We will gather generations of Shwayder enthusiasts to recognize the past 75 summers of Shwayder magic with camp-style Shabbat services followed by dinner, song session, dancing, and siyyum.

Meet the Shwayder Camp Horses!
Come ride a horse! Shwayder Camp is excited to partner with Sagebrush Stables for Summer 2025 and beyond! Shwayder will once again have horses on-site starting this coming season.
Over the course of the academic year, Sagebrush Stables is putting together a herd of Shwayder’s very own horses! This event is a chance to meet the horses we have for the herd so far, connect with friends, and enjoy a horse ride if you would like! Please make sure to register early, as space is limited for rides.
